Almost two decades in design, a decade leading teams. For the last seven years at Docusign, I’ve led the modernization of these experiences, setting the direction and shipping change in stages. Before that, I built a product and a design practice from zero at a startup that was acquired.

I fell in love with design learning Flash in college. The animation pulled me in. What kept me was the magic of shaping how people experience things.

Early on I kept hitting the same wall: tight timelines, thin resources, goals that didn't line up. Empathy alone wasn't going to solve it. So I went back for a second master's in Product Development at Carnegie Mellon, to become the kind of leader who could make the business case as well as the design one.

Outside work I travel, and I've lived in a few places that weren't home.That's shaped how I lead more than any framework: comfort with not knowing where you are yet, and confidence you'll figure it out.
